North Quincy Community Theatre performs at the Black Box Theatre at North Quincy High School, located at 316 Hancock Street in Quincy, MA. For directions on how to get to the theatre via car or T, please see below. The building is handicapped accessible and now has air conditioning.There is plenty of free parking in the building's parking lot, and many restaurants nearby. (Please note that the "Do Not Enter" sign at the lot entrance is only for school operating hours; you may enter the parking lot through this entrance in the evening.)
The Black Box is an intimate space that seats 60 people in tiered seating. The front row is only a few feet from the stage and on the same level, so the audience is right in the midst of any performance.
Auditions and rehearsals are sometimes held at the Quincy Community United Methodist Church, at 40 Beale Street in Quincy. We use the lower level space, accessible by going down the stairs on the Chapwell Street side of the building (facing the back of CVS). There is some parking at the church, and the back of the CVS lot has plenty of spaces.
